However, now even after deleting the code and the workbook itself, I can still see the "Insert Calendar" upon right click and unsure how this can be completely removed. This includes the following ActiveX controls: Microsoft Animation Control 6.0 (SP6) Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP6) Microsoft Flat ScrollBar Control 6.0 (SP6) Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0 (SP6) Microsoft ProgressBar Control 6.0. It is one reason Microsoft dont recommend 64bit unless you really need it. Ive noticed its missing in 2016, rendering my file useless. Unless it has changed in 2013, if you run 64bit office you cant use any of the windows common controls. Was this reply helpful I have some excel files built in 2013 that relay heavily on the MonthView control (the date picker). Set NewControl = Application.CommandBars("Cell").Controls.Add For office 2016 32Bits -> Tools -> Additional Controls -> Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0. ![]() ![]() Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose(Cancel As Boolean)Īpplication.CommandBars("Cell").Controls("Insert Date").DeleteĪpplication.OnKey "+^", "Module1.OpenCalendar" I tried accessing additional control from the tool box but did not see Monthview Control 6.0. ![]() I was told that Microsoft Monthview Control 6.0 is what i need to check from the additional control tab in the vba toolbox. Private Sub MonthView1_DateClick(ByVal DateClicked As Date) Good day all, I am trying to add a date picker to my UserForm but having no success. I created a pop-up calendar using the Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0 and a command button to close the calendar and it works completely fine.
